Strata Solar Launches Clean Tech Award Competition

FIRST ANNUAL $10,000 CLEAN TECH AWARD COMPETITION LAUNCHED

Students and Faculty of Accredited Colleges and Universities in the Southeast U.S. Vie for the Prize.

 

DURHAM, NC., October 14, 2019 – Today, Strata Solar and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill announce open registration for the $10,000 Strata Clean Tech Award competition.

This competition encourages students and faculty to develop improvements to, or create efficiencies for: solar energy, wind energy, battery storage, and the energy markets.

The submissions to the competition will be scored on:

  • Impact on the environment
  • Impact on society
  • Marketability/commercial appeal

 

Registration for this competition, and the deadline for submissions, ends on January 10, 2020.

 

Winners for this Clean Tech Award will be announced at the University of North Carolina’s Clean Tech Summit which will be held on February 20 – 21, 2020 at UNC’s Friday Conference Center.
